Are you an experienced Special Needs Teacher seeking a new position? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a boy's special school situated in Birmingham, who are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The school supports KS1, KS2 and KS3 pupils who all have Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan. There are both full-time and daily supply opportunities.

As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing specialised teaching strategies
  • Providing individualised support to students with SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic educational plans
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with SEMH students
