Children have a variety of moderate to severe learning difficulties and you will be working closely with an established team of teaching assistants to ensure that the needs of children are met. Children are happy and enjoy going to school, teachers work together to make leaning fun and engaging. This is an excellent opportunity for a special needs teacher to join a progressive, caring and supportive school.Job Role:
  • Teaching small classes of children with moderate / severe learning needs
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual pupils
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for pupils
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
