Special Needs Teacher – Birmingham Are you an experienced Special Needs Teacher or a QTS Teacher looking to transition into teaching within a Special Educational Needs School? This excellent SEND School that supports Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students with a range of complex needs. This school has an outstanding reputation for providing children of all abilities with a diverse and engaging education.Staff are friendly and leadership are supportive. You will be joining an experienced team of Special Needs Teachers, who are committed to making a difference. Each class is supported by a minimum of two Teaching Assistants, and a maximum of 8 students. This role requires a QTS Teacher who has a passion for working with Special Educational Needs.Job Role:
  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 or 4 students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
