Special Needs Teacher – ASAP Start Do you hold QTS and have experience teaching children with special educational needs? Do you enjoy making learning engaging and nurturing for all? This excellent SEND school is currently recruiting for a caring and empathetic Special Needs Teacher to teach a small class of wonderful Key Stage 3 children with moderate learning needs. The school itself has a fantastic leadership team, supportive staff, and provides a nurturing environment for children with a rage of special educational needs, including Autism, MLD, SLD, communication impairments and more.This role requires a Special Needs Teacher who loves what they do and wants to be part of something amazing. Children are happy and enjoy being in school, and you will receive outstanding support from a team of experienced teaching assistants. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will have full autonomy to plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of your students, with SLT on hand to provide any additional support you require. This is an excellent opportunity for a Special Needs Teacher to make an impact at this awesome school! Job Role:
  • Teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 Students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
