The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering the curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, developing students' understanding of computer science, digital literacy, and information technology. The successful candidate will be able to inspire and engage students, making technology both accessible and exciting.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective IT lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Foster a positive learning environment and support students in achieving their full potential.
Implement creative and innovative teaching methods, integrating modern technology.
Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to improve educational outcomes.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events to contribute to the broader school community.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching IT or Computer Science at secondary level (preferably Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
A passion for teaching and helping students develop their skills in IT and digital technology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the school culture.
A clear commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one.
