We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the Midlands for a talented and motivated professional to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in the fire and security industry while enjoying competitive benefits.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission Intruder Alarm Systems (wired and wireless), CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control, and Fire Systems.
  • Interpret and follow electrical layouts and building plans to meet NSI and industry standards.
  • Deliver high-quality installations efficiently by reviewing scope of works and working drawings.
  • Attend site meetings as required and engage with clients, external agencies, Alarm Receiving Centres, and Manufacturer Technical Support.
  • Produce commissioning and handover documentation, including as-fitted drawings.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
  • Provide training and demonstrations to clients on system functionalities.
  • Option to participate in the emergency call-out rota (1 in 7 weeks).
  • Maintain vehicle and stock levels to meet client demands.


Requirements:

  • GCSE / Standard Grade level education (minimum).
  • Electrical awareness with experience in installing and commissioning CCTV, DVRs, NVRs, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Ideally trained to Fire BS5839 standards Parts 1 & 5.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
