We are currently recruiting for an Estimator/Senior Estimator in Birmingham on behalf of one of our clients - an established regional contractor who work on large scale new build and refurb schemes in education, healthcare and commercial sectors! (Perm)

Ideal Candidate:
- Main Contractor background
- Experience working on one and two stage tenders
- Conquest experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organisation skills and used to working in the detail
Duties will include:
- Managing and preparing competitive tender submissions varying in form eg. one/two stage tenders or negotiated contracts.
- Sending tender enquiries out to supply chain.
- Analysing quotes from the supply chain.
- Carrying out precise quantification checks.
- Attending supply chain meetings on a regular basis ensuring an accurate scope of works and competitive costs have been provided.
- Being aware of modern build techniques and materials.
