Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students continue to receive high-quality learning when their regular teacher is absent. You will be responsible for supervising classes, managing student behavior, and assisting with the delivery of lesson plans set by the class teacher. The role offers the chance to work closely with both students and staff in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the class teacher.
Ensure students are engaged and on-task, following lesson plans provided by the class teacher.
Support students in their learning and offer guidance where appropriate.
Maintain good classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behavior.
Assist with administrative tasks such as setting up classrooms or preparing materials.
Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school activities when required.
