Service & Installations Administrator
Salary: 28,000 - 30,000
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Office-based)
Holiday Allowance: 20 days + Bank Holidays

Position Overview:
As the Service & Installations Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the service and installation teams. You will be responsible for managing schedules, liaising with clients and engineers, handling documentation, and ensuring the smooth operation of all service and installation activities. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate installation and service jobs, ensuring timely execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service and installation updates.
- Liaise with engineers and subcontractors to allocate jobs and manage workloads efficiently.
- Maintain and update job records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
- Process purchase orders and invoices related to service and installation work.
- Work closely with other departments, including production and sales, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Handle any customer queries or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure all service and installation activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role within service coordination, installation, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, engineers, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Experience within the manufacturing, construction, or engineering industries is desirable.
