Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Disrepair Surveyor to join their Property Services Team on an interim basis.

The successful applicant will deliver a quality, resident-focused service working collaboratively with the internal workforce and external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect work carried out to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with the direct labour team and external contractors, highlighting any issues
  • Log surveys on a handheld device, completing a questionnaire per property
  • Ensure works carried out are to the desired standard
  • Post inspect works after damp & mould treatment

Requirements

The ideal applicant will be experience within affordable housing repairs with knowledge around damp & mould and disrepair works.

  • Knowledge of the legal disrepair process
  • Experience in property maintenance with detailed knowledge of housing construction, disrepair & maintenance service delivery
  • Demonstrate excellent awareness of costs, value for money and health & safety risks
  • The ability to be attentive to detail when writing specifications, checking work and materials
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
