Digital Services Manager
Foundations Executive Search is delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the Professional Services industry. This role is part of the innovative and forward-thinking Business Services Team, based in the West Midlands on a Hybrid basis.
The position focuses on providing leadership and strategic oversight for Digital Applications and Services, ensuring the efficient lifecycle management of critical business applications. These include SaaS, Public and Private Cloud solutions, plus internally developed services. With significant influence across the organisation, this role supports a workforce of thousands of employees, driving the adoption of cutting-edge digital services to future-proof operations.
You will collaborate with international teams, working with Microsoft-centric technologies alongside core business applications to enhance operational capabilities and deliver transformation initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Services Manager, you will:
- Oversee the management and optimisation of the firm's Digital Applications and Workplace infrastructure, ensuring compliance with vendor and industry best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, transforming operational teams and driving digital maturity.
- Support and enhance core services, including desktop environments, collaboration tools, ERP systems, and CRM solutions.
- Provide strategic leadership for the lifecycle management of digital services, including version control, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Act as a Service Owner for key applications, driving change management processes and contributing to CAB meetings.
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams to deliver future roadmaps and support high-quality system deliveries.
- Build strong partnerships with third-party vendors and ensure robust contract management.
- Deliver projects that enhance system manageability and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in managing enterprise applications and delivering modern digital workplace solutions.
- Strong technical leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- A comprehensive understanding of ITIL frameworks, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in data integration platforms, SaaS solutions, and Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience with key technologies such as M365 Services, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, document management systems, and secure client collaboration tools.
- A proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in professional services or large-scale organisations is highly advantageous.
