Traffic Management Supervisor - Nights

Based in Nechells, Birmingham

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Management Supervisor to work on a long-term project. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.

Night shifts 8pm - 6am (would be required to work one weekend per month)

Six Month Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites
  • Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.
  • Deliver site daily briefings.
  • Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
  • Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.
  • To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
  • Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.
  • Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.
  • Complete Risk Assessments.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.

Requirements:

  • A 12AB foreman – (is a traffic management professional who oversees temporary traffic management (TTM) on motorways and dual carriageways)
  • SMSTS OR SSSTS
  • First Aid
