CSS Designer

We’re looking for a CSS Designer with strong front-end styling expertise to help shape the visual experience of our client’s travel websites.

Their ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CSS, responsive design, and best practices, with some knowledge of JavaScript to enhance interactive elements within their platform.

Practical SEO knowledge is also required for the role, ensuring that our client’s designs are not only visually appealing but also optimized for search engines. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining design consistency, performance, and usability across all our client’s travel booking platforms.

Role of CSS Designer:

• Design and implement custom CSS styling within our client’s Page Builder platform.
• Utilize custom classes, built-in attributes, and responsive settings to create high-quality, adaptive designs.
• Ensure best practices in front-end styling, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and content teams to enhance the travel booking experience.
• Use basic JavaScript knowledge to add interactive elements when needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design inconsistencies across different devices.
• Apply SEO-friendly design techniques, ensuring that CSS structures and page layouts support optimal search rankings.
• Stay updated on the latest CSS trends, front-end development techniques, and SEO best practices.

Skills required for the role:

• Strong proficiency in CSS (including Flexbox, Grid, animations, and transitions).
• Experience working with custom classes, attributes, and responsive design.
• Basic JavaScript knowledge for minor interactive enhancements.
• Understanding of SEO principles related to front-end development, including page speed optimization and structured content layout.
• Familiarity with best practices in web design, UX, and accessibility.
• Experience working with CMS platforms or page builders (experience with custom-built systems is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with SCSS or other CSS preprocessors
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for front-end design.
• Prior experience in the travel industry or working with bookable platforms.
