We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components, and performing high-quality welding to meet project specifications. This role requires experience in MIG, TIG, or arc welding, along with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal components using various tools (grinders, saws, shears, etc.).
- Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, ARC) on steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Assemble and fabricate components according to design specifications.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Operate workshop machinery, including press brakes, drills, and plasma cutters.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and functional condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding (depending on job requirements).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
