- This position is primarily remote, requiring less than 20% travel for commissioning and occasional office visits every two weeks.

We are working with a Control System Integration business to recruit a Lead Control System Engineer with Drives experience (ideally in Marine)
Our Lead Control System Engineers typically have excellent software (PLC, HMI, SCADA) and electrical design experience alongside good controls project management expertise to lead designers on projects from start to finish (FDS through to FAT/SAT with everything in-between)
Experience we are looking for:
- Siemens / Rockwell PLC software design capability without the use of a library or set design standards.
- Electric Design (package not important)
- Project management (Quality, Delivery and Cost).
- Project and site health and safety.
- Supervision/management of sub-contractors
- Control System software design specification.Â
- ​Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
- ​Production and review of technical documentation
- ​System commissioning
- Supervision and coaching of junior staff, including technicians, graduates and apprentices
This is predominantly a remote with some travel for commissioning (c less than 20% of the year) and some fortnightly travel to the office. You will be leading a team to deliver Turnkey Control & Automation Projects.
The role is paying a £60k base + 10% of your salary paid as a bonus + £6k car allowance alongside a wide range of other benefits like life insurance.
