We are currently working with a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant to join their dynamic Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role, providing financial partnering support to a subsidiary while working alongside a collaborative team of accountants.As the Commercial Management Accountant, you will play an integral role in delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights that will drive business decisions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate management and financial information in line with the reporting timetable.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management packs, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts, including year-end packs and quarterly forecasts.
  • Perform due diligence on new external accounts.
  • Review and assist with month-end journals, reconciliations, and cash flow updates.
  • Produce weekly cash flow reports and key performance indicator (KPI) reports for forecasting.
  • Provide commercial analysis to influence business decisions.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, attending operational meetings as the finance representative.
  • Communicate financial results clearly to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A newly qualified accountant with experience in management accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and financial reporting experience.
  • A proactive, organised, and collaborative team player.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
  • Experience at a senior level is preferred but not essential.
