An established organisation providing account management support to Managing Agents is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Energy Management. The role covers various aspects of energy management, including invoice auditing, energy cost and consumption analysis, and contract management. Job Details

The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing gas and electricity costs for Landlord supplies on behalf of managing agents. This includes comparing alternative supply arrangements, making proposals for contract changes, and implementing necessary transitions. The role also involves liaising with clients and suppliers, ensuring queries and tasks are handled efficiently. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries via phone, email, and post.
  • Liaise with energy suppliers to obtain quotations and resolve invoicing queries.
  • Provide timely quotations and reports to clients.
  • Monitor contract end dates, ensuring renewals and necessary actions are taken.
  • Arrange site visits and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, seeking new opportunities.
  • Identify ways to reduce client energy costs and improve efficiency.
  • Compile utility budgets and cost analysis for energy conservation measures.
  • Actively participate in business development, marketing, and sales initiatives.
  • Assist with administrative and customer service operations.
  • Share company updates on social media platforms.
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong organisational, numerical, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Previous experience in the energy sector is desirable.
