An exciting opportunity has arisen for a level 3 Nursery nurse to join a super nursery in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. If you enjoy doing exciting activities with children and have good knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we want to hear from you.
Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
Experience of working in a nursery setting
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:
- Key worker responsibilities, maintaining children’s development records
- To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
- To work closely with the Room leader planning stimulating age appropriate activities
- To promote diversity and equal opportunity
- To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
- To support children with personal care at sleep and meal times
- To ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and inviting to parents and children
- To attend monthly staff meetings, parent’s evenings, nursery outings and further training as required
