My well-established client, based in Bishop's Stortford, is looking for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join their friendly and forward-thinking team. This is a brand-new position, offering you the chance to make the role your own and contribute to the company’s continued growth.What’s on Offer:

Part-Time Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Perfect for working around school hours (e.g., 9:30 am – 2:30 pm).
Salary: £40K – £46K (actual salary based on a full-time equivalent of £60K – £70K, depending on experience).
Benefits: Share options after probation, pension scheme, 23 days holiday (rising to 25), and free parking.

Your Responsibilities for the Finance Manager role:

Provide monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports.
Use financial modelling to forecast and analyze income streams.
Develop strategies to maximize profitability and improve financial performance.
Collaborate with senior management to drive company growth.
Prepare statutory accounts and provide costings for business decisions.
Supervise one direct report and attend board meetings.
Work closely with the CEO, using Sage and CRM systems to manage financial operations.

What You’ll Need to be successful in the Finance Manager role:

5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLookUps, Pivot Tables) and financial analysis.
Experience in preparing statutory accounts and using financial modelling.
A proactive, energetic mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
