We are recruiting for a well-established Construction company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial projects across Hertfordshire, London and surrounding areas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Drylining Estimator to join our dynamic team in Bishops Stortford.

As a Drylining Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for drylining packages/projects. You will play a key role in the tendering process, analyzing project specifications, drawings, and ensuring that our bids are both competitive and profitable.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for drylining projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to obtain necessary information for accurate estimation.
• Submit competitive bids within required deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current market rates, material costs, and industry trends.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required to gather information for accurate estimation.
• Keep detailed records of all tender submissions, costs, and revisions.

• Proven experience as a Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of drylining systems, techniques, and materials.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
