Production and Sales Administrator

Are you an enthusiastic, self-starter with a desire to learn new skills?

This is an exciting new opportunity for a full time Production and Sales Administrator to join a company based on the outskirts of Bishops Stortford on a permanent basis. Must drive due to company location, free parking is available on-site.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. This is a fully office-based role and will pay a salary between £22k-£25k Per Annum (DOE) plus a performance bonus.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • First point of contact for telephone enquiries and responding to customer emails in a timely manner
  • Scheduling and processing orders and quotations using the in-house system and keeping customers updated on their orders
  • Liaising with the Production Manager to ensure orders and quotations are followed up
  • Ensuring customer records are kept updated regarding technical data and designs for the Production team
  • Coordinating visits for customers, so requirements will be assessed including detailed measurements
  • Supporting with general office duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Assisting with process management duties to ensure health and safety is maintained
  • Using a CRM system and other software systems to maintain customer contact details and documentation

The successful candidate will be supporting the Production Manager and Production Coordinator, and being a key point of contact for customers, you must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. You must have strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM, and Sage. A background in Technology, Technical Design, or Engineering would be desirable but not essential.
