My client, a growing residential developer, are currently seeking a Traine/ Assistant Buyer.
They are ideally seeking someone with 1-2 years construction buying experience.
The role will involve negotiationgand procuringall materials, superstructure, internal, site wide and consumable Prelim packages to ensure that the site programmes are met. This is to be carried out professionally and within budget.
Role entails:
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and take any appropriate action. Benchmarking tenders to ensure that market value is being achieved.
- Maintaining budgets on a monthly basis.
The role requires someone who is confident with some supplier negotiation, buying and sourcing products with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn, to join a fast-paced growing Buying Department.
