What Will You Do?

  • Implement systems of observation and record-keeping to effectively assess children’s progress and achievements.
  • Support pupils with special educational needs through specific learning programmes, contributing to individual education plan (IEHCP) targets and reviews.
  • Evaluate pupils’ progress using a range of assessment techniques.
  • Meet the personal needs of pupils while encouraging their independence.

What Are We Looking For?

  • HLTA / Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with additional learning needs.
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
  • Ability to observe, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on pupil progress.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the provision of care for children aged three to five years.
  • Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
