 Position

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant for ADHD & ODD Male to join our secondary schools in Bishop's Stortford, starting immediately. In this role, you will provide essential support to a male student with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), helping him to engage with his learning and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the student to support his educational and emotional needs, particularly in managing behaviours associated with ADHD and ODD.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans tailored to the student’s specific requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages the student to participate in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the student’s needs are met effectively.
  • Monitor and record the student’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.

Who We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate for the Learning Support Assistant for ADHD & ODD Male position will have a strong understanding of special educational needs, particularly in supporting students with ADHD and ODD. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
