We have an exciting opportunity to join the in-house pension executive of one of the UK’s largest pension schemes as a Technical Services Consultant – Policy and Legislation.About the roleAs a Technical Services Consultant you will be responsible for:
  • Providing pensions technical support to the Technical Policy and Services team to ensure that Scheme is administered in accordance with their rules, pensions legislation and the regulatory regime.
  • Acquiring and maintaining an in depth understanding and knowledge of the Scheme rules.
  • Keep up to date with pension industry rules, policy and regulation changes.
  • Supporting the wider business in understanding the impact of and implementing these changes.
About youA solid background in the pensions industry is essential for this role, as is being technically focused with an enthusiasm to keep up to date on emerging pensions developments.You will possess an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the UK pensions regime and the general pension administration processes.Knowledge of DB pensions is essential, though additional knowledge of DC arrangements would also be beneficialYou will be a good communicator, able to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent analytical skills are also essential.The role offers genuinely flexible hybrid working and a great remuneration and benefits package.
