We have an exciting opportunity to join the in-house pension executive of one of the UK’s largest pension schemes as a Technical Services Delivery Consultant.About the roleAs a Technical Services Delivery Consultant  you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the team’s calculation and valuation data extract processing.
  • Delivery of calculations, data, and reporting under the buy-in/buy-out operational framework.
  • Delivery of other complex calculations and solutions to queries to improve member experience, both as part of business as usual and wider initiatives.
You will also provide senior technical analysis and provide subject matter expertise alongside managing the delivery of business initiatives, supported by the wider Technical Services team.About youA solid background in the pensions industry is essential for this role, as is being technically focused with an enthusiasm to keep up to date on emerging pensions developments.You will possess an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the UK pensions regime and the general pension administration processes.Knowledge of DB pensions is essential, though additional knowledge of DC arrangements would also be beneficialYou will be a good communicator, able to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent analytical skills are also essential.The role offers genuinely flexible hybrid working and a great remuneration and benefits package.
