I am recruiting for a candidate for a B2B Business Development Manager with a technical mindset, as the Sales Manager it is a remote role where you will not be going into the office and covering from Leeds to Northumberland, our client has an excellent reputation in the UK with over 30 year's experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

Job accountabilities as the B2B Business Development Manager will include targeting predominately Oil & solid fuel users to LPG. You will be responsible for developing sales and profit in your area by converting leads generated by the telesales team and facilitate them changing across to LPG. You will create further opportunities through building relationships with developers, installers, while at the same time effectively managing your pipeline. You will need to have the passion to demonstrate excellent selling skills, with an ambition to regularly exceed sales targets. You will need to be a strong communicator with a flexible approach to working both on your own and as part of a team, sharing skills and knowledge.

Job responsibilities as the Business Development Manager

As part of the National sales team you will be responsible for maximising the sales and profitability of your territory through effective signing of new business.

You will be securing new business through identified Installers and contractors and leads that are sent via our internal sales team.

Ensure customer service excellence is delivered always.

Produce key reports to analyse performance and identify gaps in the market

Selling to end users mainly in the domestic sector

Build and lead cross functional internal teams that can anticipate and deliver solutions to meet customer's requirements

Build and maintain internal / external relationships involving all stakeholders to ensure the customer experience is excellent

Achieve set KPIs and sales targets

Ensure data integrity by capturing and logging as much customer information as possible

Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline

Weekly and monthly reporting on activity, sales and retention to Line Manager

Manage time effectively to optimise territory coverage

The basic salary is £32.500 + bonus which is dependant on you and upcapped and on average range from £9k - £20k per year plus a company car
