Forest Care Selection are currently working with an established independent care provider, that operates several specialist residential services across the Northeast of England. This innovative provider is seeking a Registered Home Manager to oversee their small residential care home based in West Rainton in County Durham.

The Registered Home Manager in County Durham will:

  • Oversee the running of an established residential care home and ensure its continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee an established care and ancillary team and ensure they are effectively trained and motivated.
  • Lead the care home in achieving and exceeding CQC standards, implementing robust quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the delivery of person-centered care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, local authorities, and community stakeholders.

The Registered Home Manager in County Durham will need:

  • Level 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting, with a track record of improving CQC ratings and delivering high-quality care.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing the lives of residents through exceptional care.
  • Strong leadership qualities
