We are delighted to be assisting our client as they embark on a thrilling new chapter with ambitious growth plans. As Finance Manager you will take full responsibility for a division within the business and report to the Managing Director. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

  • You will be responsible for providing financial support to senior management.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare the quarterly VAT returns and Monthly PAYE returns
  • Year end statutory accounts production
  • Review, reconcile and forecast capital expenditure
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cash flow management
  • Budget preparation
  • Assisting with business planning
  • Use financial analysis, data trends and market information to anticipate needs, identifies operating/financial issues, and recommends actions to maximise financial return.
  • Overseeing cost control, accounts payable, credit control, accounts receivable areas of finance
  • Liaise with banks and BACs re cash movements and account management
  • Production of monthly profit and loss accounts
  • Production of internal management reports
  • Complete appraisals/job chats with team members to identify development/training needs.
  • Review contracts and agree terms with suppliers.
  • Comply with company finance policies and procedures
  • Carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time and ad-hoc projects

The Ideal Finance Manager

  • A driven and ambitious individual
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Qualified Accountant is preferred but not essential.
  • Profit focused and numerate
  • Results orientated
  • IT literate.

Office Based - 1 day home working feasible
