KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this ambitious, growing company to recruit a Part-Time Finance Manager. Your duties will be as follows:

  • Supporting the Managing Director in the overall financial management of the business
  • Working with the Managing Director and Project Team Leads to create and develop 12-month operating budgets in line with the company’s financial year
  • Monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of the company
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Reporting on variance vs. budget and identifying any corrective action to maintain plan
  • Producing a KPI dashboard for the Managing Director and Project Team Leads to include KPI’s such as fee earner utilisation and contract profitability
  • Producing regular, quarterly forecast updates vs. the original budget, based on WIP, pipeline and progression to target etc.
  • Identifying ways in which the company’s financial systems, software, controls and processes can be improved to support the scaling-up of the business
  • Improving operating margins through fees/pricing, resource optimisation and cost reduction
  • Managing the company’s interface with its accounting provider and bank
  • Ensuring the company is fully compliant with regard to HMRC
  • Production of statutory accounts, VAT returns and corporation tax
  • Undertaking all payroll calculations and processing
  • Improving cash collection and reducing aged debt, including regular debt analysis
  • Supporting in financial oversight of the development of new office locations
  • Raising invoices for clients, processing receipts/expenses, bank reconciliations etc.
