Day Shift (flexitime available)
Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm
Friday 4pm Finish

Job Description
As a Maintenance and Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical and mechanical systems within the manufacturing environment. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth operations with minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing reports and managing engineering projects
- Working with engineering drawings and geometrical tolerance
- Developing strong working relationships with HSE and Fire Authorities
- Facilitating personal training and development plans for direct reports
- Communicating any operational concerns to the Operations Manager
- Managing department budgets
- Diagnosing faults and conducting timely repairs to minimize production disruptions
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this Maintenance and Facilities Engineer role, you should have:
- Time-Served Apprenticeship / Electrical or Mechanical
- HNC Maintenance Qualification (desired, not essential)
- Minimum of five years' experience in the manufacturing industry
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills and facilities awareness
- Exposure to having orked upon PLC's
- Experience in managing contractors in a facilities capacity
- Strong reactive maintenance and fault diagnostics upon a range of machinery
