Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a well-loved local business in Bishops Castle to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-run company and play a key role in supporting the accounts function. The role involves assisting multiple clients with their accounts and managing various responsibilities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts activities, ensuring timely completion.
- Prepare accounts and VAT returns.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Must have AAT Level 4 qualification.
- Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally from a practice or a standalone bookkeeping role.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic Excel skills and experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
- Strong numeracy skills.
