Search Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside our client to find a experienced chef with an active PVG on an initial 6 month placement.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our clients experienced and settled team in Bishopton, Glasgow, on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating healthy, well-balanced meals in a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in line with regulations
* Manage kitchen stock, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and minimal waste
* Work collaboratively with care staff to accommodate individual dietary requirements
* Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, including cleanliness, organisation, and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in a chef or catering role, ideally in a care, education, or similar setting
* A strong understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements for young adults
* Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with the wider team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills in a busy kitchen environment
* PVG certification (essential) to work with vulnerable young adults
