Search Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside our client to find a experienced chef with an active PVG on an initial 6 month placement.We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our clients experienced and settled team in Bishopton, Glasgow, on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating healthy, well-balanced meals in a supportive and caring environment.Key Responsibilities:* Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in line with regulations* Manage kitchen stock, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and minimal waste* Work collaboratively with care staff to accommodate individual dietary requirements* Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, including cleanliness, organisation, and compliance.What We're Looking For:* Proven experience in a chef or catering role, ideally in a care, education, or similar setting* A strong understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements for young adults* Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with the wider team* Excellent time management and organisational skills in a busy kitchen environment* PVG certification (essential) to work with vulnerable young adultsThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference by providing healthy, enjoyable meals in a supportive setting.To Apply: Please send your CV to or apply below.
