Working collaboratively, you will be trained by senior staff on how best to implement solutions, learning a unique skillset to become a technical expert.This market leading company supply into the scientific and research sectors. They have carved out a profitable niche, designing patent protected products that generate extremely pure gas for laboratory applications. With over 700 internal staff, they are looking for a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to take their business to the next level.This role would suit an Embedded Software Engineer or someone with knowledge of Electrical Controls / PLC Programming, looking to work collaboratively with senior Engineers to become a technical expert for a company on the cutting edge of scientific advancement.The Role:
- Embedded Software/Firmware Development for PLCs / Industrial Automation Technology
- Integrating sensors, actuators and control systems for laboratory gas generators
- Designing and programming control systems from scratch using C/C++ and MATLAB
- Working alongside experienced Controls Engineers to integrate, debug and test systems
- Comprehensive training to become a technical expert
- Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible hours available)
The Person:
- Embedded Software or Firmware Engineer
- Knowledge of PLC / Control System Programming
- Ability to program in C, C++
