Mobility Technician & Stairlift Installer | Blaby, Leicester | Full Time - 32.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch | £11.44 - £17.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- The ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- A willingness to learn new skills and tackle new challenges
- A valid driving licence
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting
What will your role look like?
As a Mobility Technician & Stairlift Installer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on mobility equipment both at customers’ homes and in the workshop
- Installing and removing straight and curved stairlifts with precision and care
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and technical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Following safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from our clients
- Making deliveries and collections around Leicestershire
- Maintaining a tidy and organized workshop and parts store
