This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional with experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Property Investment, Housebuilding, or related industries. You will lead a talented finance team, support the CFO, and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the business.The RoleAs Financial Controller, you will:
  • Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements in line with regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in supplier payments.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial management systems for enhanced reporting.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing actionable financial insights.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits and reconciliations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes.
Experience and QualificationsWe’re looking for a candidate with:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • A track record in the Real Estate, Construction, Property Investment, or Housebuilding sectors.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
