Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Pay Bracket: £28,000 - £31,000

We are working well-established company specialising in the manufacturing of product for clients throughout the UK.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting their accounts department on a day-to-day basis.

Your main roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales and purchase process for the business
  • Responsible for both supplier customer and supplier statement reconciliation
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Support with the business's credit control process
  • Managing the fixed asset register
  • Helping with the Finance Director with the Month End Duties
  • Supporting financial support and ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • AAT Qualified or relevant experience needed
  • Experience in high volume industry
  • Knowledge of Sage/Xero/Similar Accounts Package
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of MRP systems
  • Experienced in Payroll & VAT
