Your new companyI am working with well established manufacturing business, based in Blackburn, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant professional to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that values precision, efficiency, and teamwork.Your new roleAs Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for controlling and managing all supplier set ups, amending and matching PO's to invoices and ensuring all month end processes are carried out. Yuo will process invoices, reconcile delivery notes, reconcile supplier statements and assist in the payment runs. Your role will consist of a high volume of reconciliations across multiple income streams alongside processing and monitoring refunds and replacements. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic. Experience of working in a high volume purchase ledger role previously is essential, with an analytical mindset. You will have worked in manufacturing previously, with a good knowledge of the industry and have had exposure to multiple currencies and bank reconciliations. You will be working towards your AAT qualification or hold a level 2 as minimum.
