As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for working alongside our client’s well-established Sales Team, developing and implementing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share.

Working closely under the direction of the Sales Director and supported by an excellent Marketing department, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as maintain relationships with the existing customers. Travel to customer sites across the country will be required for this role.

Our client is looking for an individual who can build their personal and the company brand, utilising exceptional communication skills, in written, online, telephone or face to face scenarios!

Comprehensive technical training will be given to help bring the new team member up to speed with the companies innovative and industry leading products. 

Your new role as a Sales Account Manager...

  • Manage strategic and key account portfolio
  • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives
  • Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new potential customers and business opportunities
  • Working alongside the Sales Director to develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer base and increasing new sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partnerships
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote the company and generate leads
  • Meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast sales projections
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement

About you as a Sales Account Manager...

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret numerical sales data
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the role
  • Degree level qualification desirable but not essential
  • Experience of using a CRM System, including for diary management
  • Time management skills
  • Commercial Vehicle Knowledge – desirable but not required
