Electronics Engineer
Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 + Benefits
Hybrid - On-site 4 days per week in Lancashire
We are looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company, specialising in advanced security solutions. This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, developing, and testing innovative products, with potential for career progression.
You would be a lead engineer and have a reporting line to the founder of the business. The hiring manager is looking for someone to help them shape their future products and further advancements to their current product range.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic hardware and embedded software, including circuit design, PCB layout, and testing.
- Develop embedded software for Microchip PIC using embedded C.
- Build prototypes and lead hands-on project development from concept through to completion.
- Work closely with high-profile clients across sectors such as banking, telecoms, and healthcare.
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Electronics or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in electronic engineering.
- Strong background in both analogue and digital electronics.
- Proficiency in embedded software development, especially with Microchip PIC and embedded C ideally.
- Experience with PCB layout, circuit design, and testing.
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
