Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Finance Analyst to join their Projects Team. This full-time, permanent role based in Blackburn offers an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified accountant eager to take their finance career to the next level. You will be instrumental in supporting a variety of ongoing finance transformation projects, including system implementations and continuous improvement projects. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you'll have the chance to collaborate with experienced Senior Finance Managers and colleagues from across the wider business.

As a Finance Analyst in the Projects Team, your role will be pivotal in supporting various ongoing finance transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Senior Finance Managers on diverse projects ranging from system implementations to restructuring and transition projects. Your ability to extract and analyse data, build comprehensive reports using tools like Power BI and Power Query, and manage stakeholders effectively will be crucial to your success. Furthermore, your adaptability in responding to changing priorities will ensure smooth project progression.

  • Work with Senior Finance Managers on different projects including system implementations, process improvement projects, reporting improvement projects, finance modelling projects, and restructuring and transition projects
  • Extract and analyse data as required for project needs
  • Build and develop reports using tools such as Power BI and Power Query
  • Track and report projects via our project management tool
  • Manage stakeholders effectively
  • Adapt and respond to changing priorities as needed
