Your new companyJoin one of the growing, exciting finance teams within a large international business based in Blackburn as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst where you will be surrounded by people ready to support you in your development, building on your commercial finance expertise, and offering excellent career progression.Your new roleAs a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will report to the Head of Commercial Finance and play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial and business strategy. You will transform data into meaningful insights, providing valuable information on the company's performance. By building strong business relationships, you will support the operational side of the business in making commercial decisions that enhance sales generation, margin improvement, and cost reduction. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and reporting, identifying process gaps, and driving business improvement initiatives. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should be part-qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA, CIPFA) or willing to start training to become a qualified accountant. While some experience in a finance function supporting commercial decisions is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage internal relationships and deliver quality outputs on time. You should be excited by the prospect of joining a commercial finance team, supporting the business by taking financial data and analysing it to produce meaningful information, leading to decisions on product pricing, product selection, understanding the seasonality of sales and what drives it, and the impact of competitors.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a salary from £38K - £48K, dependant upon experience, plus bonus, 33 days' holidays (inclusive of bank holidays), free onsite parking, work in an open, modern office in Blackburn, plus various other benefits such as Life Assurance and Employee Wellbeing programmes.
