Job Opening: Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Join our team as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst! This role is pivotal in supporting our financial and business strategy by transforming data into meaningful insights to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach non-finance colleagues to improve their financial literacy.

  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans for the finance function.

  • Provide guidance to senior stakeholders to achieve strategic and operational goals.

  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and systems aligned with business objectives.

  • Manage stakeholder communication strategies and relationships.

  • Act as a sponsor for projects, overseeing interdependencies and opportunities.

  • Report on functional performance to support business evaluation and planning.

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

  • Support risk management policies and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Lead initiatives to improve cross-functional collaboration.

Key Deliverables:

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, provide profitability analysis, and produce commercial reports.

  • Identify and coordinate improvements through stakeholder collaboration.

  • Drive business improvement initiatives to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified or aiming to start ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CIPFA qualification.

  • Some experience in a finance function supporting commercial decisions is advantageous.

  • Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and internal relationship management skills.

  • Ability to deliver quality outputs on time amidst competing demands.

  • Strong commercial acumen.
