Are you an experienced Accounts Manager looking for a fresh challenge with exciting career prospects? We are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Blackburn, and we're seeking a dedicated Accounts Manager to join their team. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway to future partnership or directorship.

The Role: As an Accounts Manager, you will take a lead role in the practice, with key responsibilities including:

• Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior staff, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure high standards
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and delivering outstanding service
• Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax returns, and financial statements in line with regulatory requirements
• Offering proactive financial advice to clients and building strong, long-term relationships
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation

What We're Looking For:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• A proven track record in a similar role within an accountancy practice
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop junior staff
• A client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
