Commercial Finance Manager
Based: Blackburn
Salary: up to £58k + bonus + great benefits including private medical, discounts, free parking and more
Our client is a rapidly expanding service & retail business based in Blackburn. Having experienced huge growth since their inception 20 years ago, they are now a market-leader in their industry based from state of the art offices in the Lancashire area. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting and ROI on projects and acquisitions whilst helping to improve existing reports & processes.
Role:
- Producing reports for various stakeholders across the group along with key points & recommendations
- Lead the annual budgeting process by providing insight based trends
- Continuous improvement, involved in projects around automation, ERP updates
- Overseeing and producing monthly board park, working with wider finance to understand monthly performance and key drivers
- Reviewing site performance, reporting back to CFO and forming strategies to improve
- Identifying process gaps and improving them
- Reporting on supplier relationships along with ROI which will aid exec board future capex decisions
- Producing reports and analysis for investors working with group finance
- Analysing initiatives, formulating financial models regarding supplier changes or new product launches
- Preparing weekly/monthly dashboards to give clear visuals for non-finance stakeholders
Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified OR part-qualified with strong finance experience
- Financial modelling experience desirable
- Advanced Excel skills including Macros, VBA, SQL desirable
- Strong commercial acumen proven from within a commercial role for at least 3 years
- Strong business partner able to form relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- Experience working in a large, complex, multi-site environment desirable
