The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join this dynamic team. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll take on a varied role, handling key accounting responsibilities while progressing towards a Financial Controller position or possibly beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate annual audits.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering professional development.

Your Profile

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Demonstrates strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting.
  • Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Has experience with financial management software; familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
  • Exhibits strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
