The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join this dynamic team. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll take on a varied role, handling key accounting responsibilities while progressing towards a Financial Controller position or possibly beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate annual audits.
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering professional development.
Your Profile
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Demonstrates strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting.
- Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Has experience with financial management software; familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
- Exhibits strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
