Your new roleAs a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead continuous improvement within the Finance team, ensuring key financial close and day-to-day activities are completed robustly and promptly. You will act as the Finance point of contact for Operations teams and Senior Management Teams, supporting all aspects of the Management accounts and financial reporting process. Additionally, you will inspire and manage a team of part-qualified and fully-qualified accountants. Responsibilities will include managing and overseeing the execution of Finance Project implementations, reviewing monthly accounts from trial balance to financial statements, and improving internal processes. You will coordinate and review the posting of journal entries, ensure timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, and manage the audit process. Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts (IFRS & local GAAP) and continuously improving financial systems, processes, and controls will also be key aspects of your role. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will likely have 4+ years of Post-Qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and strong Excel skills. A high-level understanding of key business activities and products, as well as their impact on the Finance Team, is essential. You should be adept at aligning activities to achieve Group priorities and have a high-level understanding of the Group business and strategic plan.
