Role: Revenue Reconciliation Specialist

About the role:
The Revenue Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for supporting the reconciliation of in-store retail transactions, ensuring that receipts match point of sale (POS) sales. You will contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, ensuring all processes meet the highest standards of financial control and compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of the companys revenue records.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of retail transaction receipts against POS sales, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly
- Assist in the daily reconciliation of all bank accounts and the verification of revenue data across various platforms
- Support the implementation of reconciliation automation tools and processes, particularly within Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to the continual improvement of reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with the wider Finance Operations team and liaise with store managers to resolve any discrepancies and ensure smooth operational cash processes
- Assist with the setup of new site reconciliation processes and banking systems as the business grows and new sites are added
- Contribute to the accurate preparation and presentation of reconciliation reports for management review
- Support the banking relationship management by ensuring cash deposit processes are effectively maintained
- Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as required by management

Essential:
- Experience in revenue reconciliation or a similar financial role, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment
- Understanding of cash and banking reconciliations, with a strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial systems
Good To Have:
- AAT level 3
- Microsoft D365 Experience
