The role involves managing supplier set-ups, processing invoices, and handling month-end processes with a focus on high-volume reconciliations.
Candidates must have prior experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role, preferably in manufacturing, and familiarity with multiple currencies and bank reconciliations.
The position requires a motivated self-starter working towards or holding a minimum Level 2 AAT qualification.

Your new companyI am working with a well-established manufacturing business, based in Blackburn, who are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that values precision, efficiency, and teamwork.Your new roleAs Purchase Ledger, you will be responsible for controlling and managing all supplier set-ups, amending and matching PO's to invoices and ensuring all month-end processes are carried out. You will process invoices, reconcile delivery notes, reconcile supplier statements and assist in the payment runs. Your role will consist of a high volume of reconciliations across multiple income streams alongside processing and monitoring refunds and replacements. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic. Experience of working in a high-volume purchase ledger role previously is essential, with an analytical mindset. You will have worked in manufacturing previously, with a good knowledge of the industry and have had exposure to multiple currencies and bank reconciliations. You will be working towards your AAT qualification or hold a level 2 as a minimum.
